Designed by Koda’s in-house designers to decorate a warm, inviting home,
the Affinity series was created to emulate “timeless elegance” with its exquisite
silhouette. Considerable care was taken by the team when selecting the
materials used for this series of furniture. Walnut wood is hard, heavy and
resilient, yet it is smooth and allows the pieces to have a beautifully classy
surface finish. Shagreen’s texture is another classic that is always in vogue. In
fact, Shagreen leather has been prized by samurai warriors, who made their
magnificent sword handles out of it, and Europeans, who used it extensively
for decorative purposes throughout the centuries. Finally, the pieces were
completed with a touch of contemporary gold finish that adds a stylish flair to
this series.
