CHUNG KUNG Machinery Factory has a long history of woodworking machinery production. This company was established in 1965, in Feng Yuan City (central Taiwan), with a capital of NT$30,000. Its first factory measured approximately 1,100 sq. ft. and employed 12. The first machines to be produced by CHUNG KUNG included Jointers, Thicknessers, Chisel Mortisers, Band Saws, and Table Saws. Most of the machines produced at that time were sold domestically.
As CHUNG KUNG's reputation for producing high-quality woodworking machinery began to spread, it was clear that an additional factory was needed. Thus, in 1984, CHUNG KUNG opened its second manufacturing site in nearby Shen Kang Township. The current factory measures about 8,000 sq. ft.
With its move to the new factory site, new production lines were added, including Routers, Spindle Shapers, and Precision Band Saws, etc. At that time, CHUNG KUNG began to successfully enter foreign markets.
CHUNG KUNG's President, Mr. Edward Lin, saw the potential demand for CNC controlled woodworking machinery, both domestically and internationally. Thus, more than 20 years ago, CHUNG KUNG established an R & D Department for the development of CNC Routers and CNC Bandsaws. Demand for CHUNG KUNG's CNC Routers has steadily risen, and CHUNG KUNG's R & D Department has worked to create CNC Routers that are technologically advanced, easy to operate, and competitively priced.
CHUNG KUNG's CNC Routers are available with many options including ATC (Automatic Tool Changing) system and CAD/CAM software. These machines are dependable and versatile, able to rapidly machine plastic, wood and acrylic to produce tabletops, doors, window frames, chair legs, chair backs, cabinets, bed components, speaker boxes, gift items, and much more!
Currently, CHUNG KUNG promotes its products at both local and foreign trade shows. CHUNG KUNG machinery has been successfully marketed to Southeast Asia, China, North America, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, and Western and Eastern Europe.
CHUNG KUNG's current capital is NT$8 million. From its humble beginnings as a manufacturer of traditional woodworking machinery, it has become a technological leader in the development of computer-controlled woodworking machinery.
