The 40 metre motor yacht Namaste, listed for sale with Glynn Smith at Denison Yacht Sales, has had a $500,000 price reduction.

One of only two yachts of this design, the sleek, RINA classed cruiser with a distinctive cappuccino coloured hull has had just three owners since she was delivered by Turkey's Tamsen Yachts in 2008. Her original owner carried out a rolling programme of upgrades: one reason why Namaste has proved such a popular charter vessel over the years. Another is that the deck areas and interior spaces suggest a much larger vessel than her stats suggest — the 2.47 metre headroom in the main saloon surpasses many recent launches over 50 metres, for example.

Her most recent owner undertook an extensive refit which was completed in May 2017 and included new hull paint, engine and generator servicing, pump replacements and a new AV system.

Living quarters on this yacht for sale are serene, with natural woods, cream and soft brown leathers and fabrics, and oriental features providing a décor style best described as contemporary Asian. Huge windows and large glass panels in the ceilings and floors, plus an opening skylight in the upper lounge, flood the interior with light. Spaces are generous for 12 guests in five cabins: a master suite, two doubles and two twins plus two Pullman berths. All cabins have full en-suite bathrooms.

Of the several outdoor spaces, the foredeck is particularly impressive, with a comfortable lounging and dining area as well as the yacht's Jacuzzi. This area offers fabulous unobstructed views as well as privacy from the quay when in port.

Namaste is now asking $7.9 million.
