Sold in June 2016, the 40.4 metre sailing yacht Nuberu Blau is back on the market, renamed Zalmon and listed for sale by Marc Haendle at Ocean Independence.
Zalmon was built in New Zealand by Alloy Yachts and was designed by Dubois Naval Architects. She was the fifth Dubois design to be commissioned by the same owner and, delivered in 2000, she was the seventh Dubois design to be built by Alloy Yachts — a partnership which produced more than 20 yachts.
Her luxurious interior was designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon. She offers accommodation for up to eight guests in four staterooms consisting of a master suite, two VIP staterooms and a twin cabin, all with en-suite facilities.
Cherry wood panelling set into fabric panelled bulkheads creates a calm and inviting space in her expansive interior and all the pieces of furniture, made by Alloy Yachts, are also in cherry wood with lightly detailed panelling. Comprehensive refits were undertaken in 2009 and 2011. In addition, since August 2016 Zalmon has had a substantial refit and maintenance programme including a complete hull and superstructure paint job to ensure that she is ready for a new owner in fine condition.
Under power, a 1,085hp MTU engine gives her a range of 3,500 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 10 knots.
On display at the Monaco Yacht Show 2017, Zalmon is asking €7,300,000.
