The 34.75 metre tri-deck motor yacht Madcap, listed for sale by Michael Mahan at Worth Avenue Yachts, has had a further $550,000 price reduction.

Built in aluminium by US yard Newcastle Marine to a design by Michael G Burvenich, Madcap was delivered in 2010. ABS classed and MCA compliant, she accommodates eight guests in four cabins consisting of a main deck full-beam master suite, VIP suite and port and starboard twin cabins, all with entertainment centres, Aquos flatscreen televisions and en-suite bathroom facilities. A further double and a twin cabin sleep three crewmembers aboard this yacht for sale.

The main saloon was designed by Luiz de Basto and is geared for relaxation in an elegant, casual setting with free-standing furniture and comfortable seating for up to 10 guests. To starboard is a games table with two wicker armchairs, a coffee table and a couch, plus four armchairs. Her entertainment centre includes a 50-inch Runco widescreen television and a stereo surround sound system with a formal dining area forward.

However, it is widely acknowledged that the formal dining area on a yacht is the least used room and for this reason the aft deck on Madcap is a multipurpose space, fully enclosed with highly efficient air conditioning and heating. There is also a high gloss table surrounded by eight cushioned wicker armchairs and a wet bar to port with a fridge and icemaker.

The sun deck is arranged with two fixed seating and lounging areas facing each other amidships, along with a wet bar, fridge and icemaker to port. Twin 2,000hp MTU diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 11 knots topping out at 15 knots.

On display at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, Madcap is now asking $6,950,000.
