A new-build 29 metre Sanlorenzo SL96 motor yacht has been sold by David Legrand at Fraser.
Currently in build with a GRP hull and superstructure at the Italian yard to a design by long-time collaborator Francesco Paszkowski, the SL96 is due for delivery in spring 2018. As with all the yachts in this range, she will be heavily customised, with eight guests accommodated in four cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite and two twins, all with entertainment centres, satellite television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities. Crew quarters allow for up to four crewmembers.
The saloon will be suitably opulent, boasting American walnut wood parquet flooring, comfortable seating in an L-shaped configuration and an entertainment centre including a large screen television. Forward is a dining area with seating for eight guests. A special feature will be a portside sliding glass door opening to a hydraulic sea balcony.
The teak-decked flybridge will offer all the amenities for al fresco entertainment, including a dining area, seating, sunpads and an awning providing shade from the radar arch all the way back to the aft gunwhale.
Twin 2,216hp MTU diesel engines will power her to a cruising speed of 25 knots, topping out at 29 knots, and she will be fitted with zero-speed stabilisers.
Other superyacht projects currently under development at the Italian yard include the flagship Sanlorenzo 64Steel, which is due to hit the water in 2019, and the third hull in the Sanlorenzo 52Steel series — slated for a 2018 launch.
