The 50 metre motor yacht Wabi Sabi, listed for sale by Burgess, has been sold with Moran Yacht & Ship introducing the buyer.

With exterior and interior design by Donald Starkey, Wabi Sabi was built in GRP by US yard Westport to ABS class and MCA compliancy, and delivered in 2011. A $2.5 million refit in April 2016 saw her receive a full repaint and her five year class survey. She has a unique, versatile layout accommodating up to 18 guests in eight cabins consisting of a master suite on the bridge deck, a VIP suite and a twin cabin on the main deck, and three doubles on the lower deck. In addition, the library can convert to a further double, as can the gymnasium, and all have full en-suite facilities.

The main saloon is warm and elegant with two large sofas to port and starboard, while the entertainment centre includes a 50-inch wide screen plasma television that rises out of the forward cabinet. Further forward a formal dining table in sapele wood with mahogany accents seats up to 12 guests.

On deck, she has several al fresco dining spaces, as well as a sundeck with a Jacuzzi spa pool and barbecue — an excellent space for lounging and entertaining. Her extraordinary range makes her ideal for long distance cruising and she has spent two years exploring the Pacific Ocean from Central America to Australia and beyond.

Twin 3,650hp MTU diesel engines give her a range of 4,000 nautical miles and she is fitted with Naiad zero-speed stabilisers.

Wabi Sabi was asking $25,900,000. Renamed Hospitality, she is immediately available for charter with Moran Yacht & Ship.
