Editor's Note: From Project Teasers to Charter Season

　　A torrent of turbocharged engines are set to shake the windows of Monaco this week as the return of the iconic Grand Prix brings thousands of visitors, and a marina full of superyachts. Not an event to be missed, this celebration of all-things-engineered marks the height of the charter season, as well as the looming return of summer.

　　Some of the best yachts on the water have arrived in Port Hercules this week; including Lionheart, Legend, Gene Machine, Global and Vertige. Whether for private viewing or charter, the Grand Prix - and more importantly Monaco as a whole - is a meeting point for the global elite to enjoy the sun and soak in the atmosphere for one of the most watched sporting events in the world.

　　Keeping charter in mind, we looked into the unbridled experience of stepping on board one of our chosen top yachts on the market Ouranos, an Admiral superyacht with a contemporary global appeal and an extensive itinerary across both East and West Mediterranean.

　　We’ll delve further into the charter hotspots across the world next as the industry continues to focus on its busiest time of the year and work toward September’s showcases.

　　Shifting the spotlight from charter to new-build, Royal Huisman came to the fore to reveal an exciting teaser of Project Phi, which entered construction this week. Ensuring no unwanted detail is revealed while successfully generating true intrigue, the lines are sharp, contemporary and aggressively styled, making this a concept to look out for as it progresses in the yard.

　　The reveal of Phi subsequently sparked a bigger conversation in the office, leading to our latest feature surrounding our favourite concepts of the last year, as well as an insight into another of our closely-watched projects, the VSY Hot Lab Explorer.
