Editor’s Note: A Global Exploration of Life on Board

As the first signs of spring begin to show across London and the rest of the Med, we look forward to what hopes to be a promising season for the region. With positive news from all angles - including Oyster Yachts this week announcing a new ownership - it’s already shaping up to be an extremely active year for the industry.

While global brokerages announce numerous sales in a seemingly unstoppable market, we explore the best on offer at Palm Beach, starting today on Miami’s sunny coast.

Listing the must-sees in Part 2 of our best on display, we hope the American showcase will bring many successes, following in the footsteps of Moran Yacht & Ship’s monumental sale of Project Icecap earlier this week.

But activity at the moment isn’t all American. A few days ago, Rose-Hannah Lishman caught up with Dynamiq Yachts who disclosed that their current map of enquiries reaches all the way from Mexico to China and that modern technology is beginning to power the Italian-yard’s forward-thinking.

Meanwhile, outside of the industry we visited Canada with tales of exploration from the Owner of Yersin and leaned how to perfect life on board with new insights and images from Abeking & Rasmussen’s awe-inspiring Aviva.

Christina Tsangaris provides this week’s interior inspiration, stepping on board Perini S/Y Seven, and considering the elements that make time on board, well spent.

Elsewhere, it’s heating up for MYS 2018 already, with news of a restructured layout and the first hints of organization already looming! Our destination focus this week also looks towards summer, with Porto Montenegro once again on the map, explored by Claudine Derksen.
