The 27.2 metre motor yacht Etoile d’Azur, listed for sale by Josh Gulbranson at Fraser, has been sold in an in-house deal.

Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Moonen to a design by Rene van der Velden, she was delivered in 2007 as the seventh yacht in the Moonen 84 series. The interior décor, by Art-Line, employs silk sprayed cherry wood paneling with leather detailing and cream coloured furniture to dramatic effect, accommodating eight guests in four cabins. These consist of a full-beam master suite, a VIP suite and two twins, all with Samsung television screens and marble en-suite bathroom facilities.

The main-deck saloon and lounge area has large windows allowing natural light to stream in. There is a U-shaped settee to port along with a full wet bar and three bar stools, while to starboard is an entertainment centre including a drop-down television screen. Further forward is a dining area with seating for eight guests. The sheltered aft deck has a built-in settee, a table, five chairs and a television screen suspended from the ceiling.

A major refit in 2013 saw her sundeck extended to create a massive 22 square metres of space. This deck hosts the second helm station and built-in seating to starboard, while to port is a U-shaped seating area, wet bar, barbecue grill, ice maker and fridge.

Twin 357hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 12 knots and she has a transatlantic range of 3,500 nautical miles. Electric zero-speed stabilisers enable her to cruise in silence.

  Etoile d’Azur was asking $3,700,000.
