The 36 metre motor yacht Saudades, listed for sale by Joost Goverts and Ed Dickinson at Northrop & Johnson, has been sold with Alain Tanguy from FYC Yachts introducing the buyer.

Built in wood by Italian yard CNL to a design by Carlo Galeazzi, she was delivered in 1981 as one of the yard’s Admiral 35 models with a full refit in 2009. RINA classed, she accommodates 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a full-beam master suite, a VIP suite, two doubles and a twin, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities.

The saloon is expansive and elegant and the lounge area has wooden floors covered by scatter rugs, along with settees, armchairs and an entertainment centre with a 32-inch television screen. Forward is a formal dining area for 10 guests and a professional galley.

A large aft deck offers al fresco entertainment and dining for up to 12 guests on upholstered teak chairs around an expandable polished coffee table. More outdoor entertainment is available on the flybridge, complete with teak decks, sun pads, occasional chairs and a table. There is a further cosy seating area on the foredeck, offering complete privacy. Twin 1,400hp Caterpillar diesel engines and a planing hull give her a maximum speed of 26 knots.

In 2009 she was taken to the Codecasa yard in Viareggio for a full refit under the supervision of Carlo Galeazzi. During the refit all external and internal spaces were rebuilt and she received her current interior layout.

Lying in Viareggio, Italy, Saudades was asking €1,495,000 with VAT paid.
