The 33.53 meter motor yacht Tie Breaker has been sold in an in-house deal by Fraser, with Trevor Carroll representing both the buyer and seller.
The custom built yacht was delivered by the American yard Hatteras in 1997 and features naval architecture by Jack Hargrave. Previously known as Waterford she underwent a through refit in 2007.
Los Angeles based Thomas Achille was responsible for her interior design, which features a stylish full beam saloon and a high gloss maple wood finish, while her furnishings are Biedermier style, creating a classic, homely feeling.
Tie Breaker offers accommodation for up to nine guests in four spacious cabins. The master suite is full beam and has a king size bed and his and hers en suite bathrooms. There are two identical staterooms to port and starboard with queen size beds and also a twin berth cabin. All guest staterooms have en-suite bathroom facilities. She also offers accommodation for up to five crew members.
Her exterior deck spaces are in an equally impressive condition. She offers plenty of space for relaxing and socialising in the sun with multiple seating areas and a Jacuzzi on her sundeck.
Tie Breaker is powered by twin Caterpillar 3508B engines and offers a maximum speed of 20 knots with a comfortable cruising speed of 17 knots. She also has stabilisers for additional comfort while on board.
Lying in Palm Beach, Tie Breaker was asking $2,999,000.
