The 28.04 metre motor yacht North Star has been listed for sale by Tom Corkett at Northrop & Johnson.
Built by American yard Glasstech Corp to an in-house design, North Star is an expedition-style yacht with a steel hull and was delivered in 1999. In 2016 she underwent a refit so thorough she qualified for a New Build Determination by the United States Coast Guard. During this time she received new wiring, piping and systems, new galley equipment and fixture and her main engines and generators were replaced with new pumps and machinery.
Accommodation on this yacht for sale is for six guests across three cabins including a full beam master suite located amidships which offers a king size bed, L-shaped seating are with table and en-suite with bath and shower facilities. Two forward guest cabins also offer en suite bathrooms while there are also separate quarters for a crew of two. North Star’s interior has been kept deliberately simple and functional in order to cater for large families and groups.
In addition to spacious living areas, she also features a live dive locker, pilothouse with full walkaround deck and outside wing control stations and a Portuguese-style bridge. Designed for long-range cruising and explorations, North Star offers a range of 3,000 nautical miles. Included in her sale is a 4.6 metre Novurania tender.
North Star is asking $1,200,000.
