The 24.7 metre sailing yacht Beluga One, listed for sale by Mediterranean Yachts, has been sold in an in-house deal.

Built in wood and delivered in 1992 as a classic Turkish ketch-rigged gulet, Beluga One was revitalised by designer Anouska Hempel who turned her into a luxurious charter yacht. Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins consisting of a master suite, double and a twin, all with entertainment centres and en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for six crew in the aft area.

The fully air-conditioned saloon is furnished with large settees to port and starboard, comfortable armchairs, a bar and an entertainment centre, including a large LED television screen and a stereo surround sound system. The aft deck, sheltered by a canvas awning, comes with built-in seating, tables and barrel armchairs. In keeping with her role as a charter yacht, this area can seat 20 guests for al fresco meals or 50 guests for a party onboard. The mahogany mast is dressed in dramatic black sails and, at the stern, sweeping black curtains frame excellent views out to sea.

A 200hp Puck diesel engine and a Perkins Sabre 250hp auxiliary diesel engine give her a maximum speed under power of eight knots.

The price of Beluga One has been withheld.
