The 32.6 metre ketch-rigged sailing yacht Rosinante of Notika, listed for sale by Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage, has been sold in an in-house deal.
Launched in 1998, she was built by Turkish yard Notika Teknik from a Cedar hull and GRP superstructure. Styled inside and out by Olivier Flahault, her naval architecture comes courtesy of Marc Lombard. She has been meticulously maintained and constantly upgraded ever since with regular refits, the most recent of which was completed at Didim Marina in 2015.
Accommodation is for six guests in three en-suite staterooms including a master suite, a double and a twin cabin. Several well-placed televisions add to the relaxed ambiance and a crew quarters suitable for a staff of up to five people completes the layout of her 138GT interior. On deck, key features include an al fresco dining area and a wide variety of water toys. Her vital statistics include a beam of 8.1 metres and a maximum draught of 4.5 metres.
Power comes from a single Cummins 6-CTA-8.3M1 engine for a top speed of 11 knots, while under sail she is capable of excellent performance, thanks to a lightweight displacement of just 80 tonnes and a total sailplan of 577 square metres. What’s more, her total fuel capacity of 4,000 litres allows for extended cruising at ten knots — a fact proved by her 2007 transatlantic voyage and experience of cruising in waters as varied as Europe, the Caribbean and South America.
Lying in the Turkish town of Kusadasi, Rosinante of Notika was asking $1,395,000.
