Broward motor yacht Midsummer Dream sold

The 29.87 metre motor yacht Midsummer Dream, listed for sale by Paul Daubner at Northrop & Johnson, has been sold with Emerald Pacific Yachts introducing the buyer.

Built in aluminium by US yard Broward Marine, she was delivered in 1982 and has had several refits over the years, the most recent being in 2012. The refit, at Delta Marine, brought her right up to date and she was offering a very viable business opportunity to her new owner. She has built up an excellent reputation as a charter yacht in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, accommodating six guests in three comfortable cabins. In addition, she has quarters for up to five crew.

The accommodation offered on Misummer Dream consists of a master suite and two twin cabins, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities. Decorated in satin finished cherry wood throughout, her open plan saloon has neutral colours, comfortable seating, a games table and an entertainment centre. Forward is a formal dining area seating six guests and further forward still is a U-shaped galley with all the latest appliances.

The sheltered aft deck can be fully enclosed so that it can be heated during those cold Alaska cruises and offers upholstered bench seating, a table and a full wet bar. The pilothouse is also enclosed and offers seating and panoramic 360 degree views while aft is an open area to stow the 4.57 metre Novurania tender, which was included in the sale.

Twin 750hp Scania diesel engines give her a range of 2,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.

  Midsummer Dream was asking $775,000.
