Swan sailing yacht Nazca sold

The 24.09 metre sailing yacht Nazca, listed for sale by George Ertsos at Atalanta Marine and Jeremy Peek at Nautor’s Swan Brokerage, has been sold with Christian Bader at Nautor’s Swan Germany representing the buyer.

Designed by German Frers, she was built in GRP by Nautor’s Swan to Bureau Veritas class and delivered in 2004 as a Swan 82 model. An interior in hand-rubbed satin teak accommodates eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite aft, a double forward and port and starboard twins, all with en-suite shower facilities.

The comfortable saloon has a U-shaped settee to port with a dining table and two folding chairs, while to starboard is an L-shaped settee and a coffee table. In autumn 2011 she was struck by lightning and shipped back to the Nautor facility in Jakobstad for a major refit and repair which included a complete rewiring of all electrical systems, hull painting, a new mast and much more.

On deck, there are U-shaped settees on both sides of the centre cockpit with tables on each side, creating the perfect spot for al fresco dining or simply enjoying sailing experience. Two stainless steel rams hydraulically operate the transom door which opens to reveal a teak-soled bathing platform.

On the technical side, she is fitted with an Offshore Spars carbon fibre mast and a Park Avenue boom while deck equipment comprises self-tailing Harken winches. Under power, a single 180hp Cummins diesel engine gives her a cruising speed of nine knots and a maximum speed of 10 knots.

Nazca was asking €2.8 million with VAT paid.
