73m Delta Marine motor yacht Laurel listed for sale

The 73.15 metre Delta Marine motor yacht Laurel has been listed for sale by Mark Elliot at IYC.

Constructed with a steel hull and GRP superstructure, she was delivered in 2006 as the flagship of US yard Delta Marine. Sporting an exterior by Donald Starkey, who also designed her interiors, she accommodates up to 12 guests in seven cabins comprising a master suite, four VIP staterooms, one twin cabin and one convertible cabin that can be used as a sauna room.

The master suite is located amidships on the main deck, strategically placed aft of the crew mess and protected by a soundproofed bulkhead, to avoid noise from bow thruster and anchor operations forward. The luxurious space features his and hers walk-in wardrobes, two private terraces port and starboard, as well as a sizeable lounge and office.

On deck, she features a fully-equipped gym, with a library that converts into a private cinema. An elevator provides wheelchair access to all guest decks while an ultra-modern stabilisation system eases roll motion effect, ensuring onboard comfort.

A stately main saloon offers comfortable seating forward of a formal dining area for up to 10 guests, while large windows provide ample natural light.

Her exterior provides an upper deck with sun loungers and a Jacuzzi, above an aft deck with built-in seating and a sheltered al fresco dining area. Elsewhere, a foredeck hosts a large socialising area and further seating.

An aft staircase on the main deck leads down to a beach club with easy access to the water from a swim platform and side tender garages.

The yacht boasts a large array of toys, tenders and watersports including wakeboards, waverunners and towable toys. From the bridge deck, guests can access a large inflatable slide and there are two diving instructors on board to assist with excursions beneath the waves.

Twin Caterpillar 3516-B-HD diesel engines power the yacht to a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots, while a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 10 knots is possible.
