The NCA refit yard, a division of the Italian Sea Group, is currently in the advanced stages of a full-scale refit on the 60 metre Oceanco yacht Sea Pearl.
Taking place at Marina di Carrara on Italy’s north west coast, the refit will be completed in May 2022 following seven months of work.
The work will include a number of key upgrades. As well as a Class Survey and a new lick of paint, the yacht’s interior and exterior will undergo a significant redesign.
The yacht’s generator filters will also be upgraded, giving Sea Pearl an improved eco-focus.
Originally delivered in 2004 to a design by Winch, the yacht was formerly known as Pegasus and Aviva. She offers accommodation for 14 guests and 18 crew members.
NCA has completed a number of refits over the years, including work on 78-metre Vosper Thornycroft M5, the 88-metre Perini Navi Maltese Falcon and the 66-metre Delta Marine motor yacht Invictus.
NCA was acquired by the Italian Sea Group in 2013, strengthening the position of the shipyard and making it the second-largest shipbuilding outfit on the Tyrrhenian Sea, after Fincantieri.
