Swiss company AirYacht has unveiled an impressive concept that can travel in the sea and fly in the air. The 60m yacht offers 750 sq. m of living space. Aerodynamic shape and low weight are critical to the design of the AirYacht. To keep the vessel as light as possible, the accommodation component will not be equipped with engines.
The configuration can be chosen between three variton – from five to six staterooms, and accommodate up to 12 guests onboard including an owner’s suite, or a crew of 12 and a piloting crew of three in the third version.
The AirYacht has two separate modules: a 200-meter helium-filled airship is attached to an ultra-lightweight all-carbon 60-meter residence. AirYacht has to keep the light weight that's why the accommodation component will not be equipped with engines.
AirYacht will feature a swimming pool, a gym, and a sauna. The touch and go helipad, garage for cars, jet skis and tenders are also included.
The yacht can cruise at altitude from 100 to 200 meters and reach a maximum speed of 50 knots. The fundraising phase will start soon and the first hull is planned to be delivered in 2026.
