The 28.15m yacht Black Diamond caught fire in the IMS yacht maintenance and repair shipyard in Saint-Mandrier, France. It was reported by the local media that there was an explosion on the yacht at about one in the Friday morning.
Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and 40 fire brigades worked to eliminate the fire. The cause of the accident is unknown. Luckily no one got hurt.
Black Diamond was launched in 2010 at the UK shipyard Sunseeker as part of Predator 82. She can accommodate eight guests across four staterooms and can reach a top speed of 42 knots.
