Nordhavn delivers second 25m N80

US-headquartered yard Nordhavn has delivered the second unit in its 24.5-metre N80 series. The yacht arrived at Nordhavn’s California office at the end of January and has now been handed over to her owner.

Built entirely in GRP, the N80 has a beam of 7.1 metres and a draught of 2.1 metres.

The trawler series has been designed in collaboration with Vripack. Nordhavn’s Chief of Design, Jeff Leishman has been at the helm of hulls one and two, but the interiors vary greatly thanks to Nordhavn’s scope for customisation.

While the first hull in the series features a more traditional palette with rich, dark woods and neutral soft furnishings, the second hull details a more contemporary feel with light-walnut cabinetry and white and grey marble surfaces and a "Scandi-chic" theme.

A tri-deck layout is complemented by a winding external staircase servicing the al fresco living area. The main deck extends from the saloon, which boasts an open-plan layout revealing lounging, bar and dining spaces. Sliding glass doors seamlessly connect the two areas. A casual alfresco dining arrangement overlooks a beach club, easily accessed by a small flight of stairs on either side of the transom. 

Moving towards the bow, the well-appointed galley is tucked in discreetly before the full-beam master forward, which houses his and her wardrobes and an office. The remaining accommodation comprises three further cabins on the lower deck for a total of eight guests, all with ensuite facilities. 

An upper deck saloon is positioned adjacent to the wheelhouse while up on the flybridge, guests are welcomed by a circular Jacuzzi aft and with wide bench seats near the helm.

The N80 is powered by twin 375hp John Deere engines.
