Superyacht Tenders & Toys, the company behind Roam Boats, says that sales for its range of go-anywhere tenders and support vessels have far exceeded expectations.
Seemingly, the recent flurry of orders is largely thanks to interest following the launch of the Roam 8 Adventure RIB at the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show.
Alongside stock orders for the standard platform adventure RIBs and beachlanders, the company’s manufacturing a semi-custom, seven-metre adventure RIB tender for a new build Sanlorenzo, a ten-metre catamaran landing craft, and an 11-metre custom beachlander to upgrade ship-to-shore transfer for the owner and guests of a large explorer vessel.
“The key to our recent success is the combination of providing a practical balance between support and adventure whilst simultaneously pushing the boundaries with new models, custom options and the latest in manufacturing and sustainability technology,” says senior project manager Richard Booth. “We strive to deliver exactly what our customers need whilst continuously developing the Roam brand with innovative new concepts.”
The company says that while customers have specified their own customisation, all orders will retain Roam’s DNA of being robust, adaptable, no-nonsense, aluminium support vessels geared towards the dive, toy and adventure arena.
In November 2022, Roam launched its dedicated superyacht landing craft to complement its existing offering of shadow boats, adventure RIBs, beachlanders and inflatable boats.
