Granocean presents renderings of new flagship power catamaran X32

China-based shipyard Granocean has revealed renderings for their latest 32-metre power catamaran, named, Azure III.

The new flagship is the yard’s largest full custom power catamaran, currently in construction at their Zhongshan facility on the Pearl River Delta and has been built as a world cruiser for a returning client.

The Granocean design team, spearheaded by Eric So, is responsible for her bold monochrome exterior and clean-cut, contemporary interior.

The high-profile twin hulls have a robust explorer-style design with side-loading garages that can store a variety of tenders and toys. A generous swimming pool and lounge area is located on the foredeck, positioned transversely between the hulls.

The 12-metre beam enables an expansive owners suite on the sundeck facing aft, with wrap-around windows for natural light and panoramic views. Renderings reveal the interiors feature classical wood and neutral-toned furnishings, complete with an office and lounging area. Further accommodation includes an additional two VIP staterooms on the main deck, as well as crew cabins located in the hulls. 

The light and airy interiors and various textured furnishings continue throughout the saloon, with adjoining dining and relaxation areas. Thanks to the large floor-to-ceiling windows, natural light floods the living spaces . 

Powered by a pair of Caterpillar engines, Azure III will have a cruising speed of 11 knots and a maximum speed of 17.
