Lezzeno-based Mostes Shipyard has revealed a 26-metre concept named the Navetta Eighty J. Designed in collaboration with Unique Yachts, this vessel will be the successor to the Italian shipyard’s 25.5-metre Audace 80 series, the first of which was launched in 2019.
With a focus on preserving the Navetta Eighty J’s “all Italian DNA”, the shipyard intends to build the limited series in Italy – where it was also conceptualised and designed. This will include the use of Italian parts, equipment and trades throughout the entire build.

Although the Navetta Eighty J has a 26-metre LOA, she was designed to be registered below 24 metres (23.9 metres).
Nicknamed the “pocket explorer”, it has an impressive range of 3,000 nautical miles and will be built in a marine-grade steel hull, aluminium superstructure and full displacement hull. Exterior renderings reveal a metallic-grey colour proposal and a slanted, geometric profile with broad glazing, likely to translate into floor-to-ceiling windows when indoors.
Accommodation includes three to five cabins with the number and configuration decided entirely by the owner. Unlike most other vessels in its size bracket, however, the Navetta Eighty J has an owner’s cabin on the main deck, fitted with oversized windows that allow for generous ocean views and natural light. Interiors are also customisable and will be designed in house, if not by a designer as per the owner’s request.

Design highlights include a sky lounge and a beach club swim platform that lowers into the water and doubles as an access point for a jetty. The sun deck features fixed sun pads and a glass balcony, ensuring unimpeded views even when seated.
The Navetta Eighty J is equipped with zero-fin stabilisers and a draft of 1.7 metres, enabling it to navigate shallow anchorages in the Bahamas and Caribbean with ease.
Powered by twin MAN engines, the Navetta Eighty J is anticipated to have a maximum speed of 13 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots.
