Italian shipbuilder Canados has sent its 43.4-metre Oceanic 143 out on sea trials. Her debut appearance will be at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023.
Marking the new flagship for the Rome-based yard, the yacht has an impressive nautical mile range of over 6,000 travelling at 8.5 knots, while her top speed is estimated at 25 knots.

This model follows in the successful footsteps of a number of other Oceanic models, including the 27.8 metre Oceanic 90, Tsa Tsa. The Oceanic concept focuses on balancing explorer capacities with long-range cruising to create a versatile and thoughtfully designed superyacht.
The Oceanic series also includes an entry-level 23.7-metre Oceanic 76 model called Bull.

Rome-based designer Michela Reverberi has handled the yacht's interior. This will feature an owner's suite spanning the entire upper deck including panoramic views, a secluded terrace and a private dining area. The flybridge will have a bar, sunpads and a bathroom.
The hull design is by Arrabito Naval Design in collaboration with the shipyard's chief naval architect Giovanni Senatore. It features a twin-stepped hull, designed to reduce friction, and a bulbous bow.
The Oceanic 143 was originally sold as an Oceanic 140 in 2014. She is currently available for purchase.
