$300,000 price drop on 31m Hatteras motor yacht Tie Breaker

The 30.5-metre Hatteras motor yacht Tie Breaker, for sale with Trevor Carroll at Fraser, has had a $300,000 price reduction.

Delivered in 2002, Tie Breaker belongs to the American shipyard’s raised pilothouse series, which benefits from a spacious, social flybridge.

The GRP motor yacht underwent a 2018 refit that included a complete overhaul of the generators and interiors, followed by several other recent mechanical upgrades. Both the exterior styling and naval architecture are owed to Jack Hargrave.

Accommodation is for eight guests across four cabins and includes a full-beam master cabin with a king-size berth, walk-in closet and his and her bath. Interiors were completed in-house with high-gloss cherry wood, marble and granite finishes incorporated throughout. A “country-kitchen” style galley contributes to the yacht’s warm, traditional aesthetic.

The main saloon features a plush L-shaped sofa, custom coffee table, built-in end table and two lounge chairs with a rising television screen. There is also a formal dining table with custom-upholstered seating for eight, alongside a sunken, granite-topped wet bar with an ice maker and a refrigerator.

Tie Breaker’s main convivial area is the flybridge, which is fitted with a wet bar, barbecue grill and television screen with speakers. There are also curtain enclosures for additional privacy. Aft, an expansive deck is arranged with sun loungers and sofa seating, providing panoramic views off the stern.

Powered by twin 1,800hp MTU engines, Tie Breaker can reach a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots.

Optimised for cruising in the Bahamas and Caribbean, a draft of two metres allows this yacht for sale to navigate shallow bays and anchorages with ease.
