Lürssen's 114.2-metre superyacht Project Cosmos has been spotted in transit from Lürssen's shipyard in Rendsburg en route to begin outfitting. It comes after the bare hull was launched in March of this year.
The superyacht is one of the first yachts in the world to be fitted with fuel cell technology, with Lürssen making considerable strides in the path towards more sustainably-focused superyachts over the past few years.

Commissioned for a Japanese owner, Project Cosmos is one of the largest yachts currently under construction and the fourth-largest of the eight projects currently in build at Lürssen.
The first images reveal an explorer-style profile with the superstructure positioned forward making way for a large aft deck, which is home to a swimming pool and an unusual oblong well cut into the deck which is likely to be a float-in tender garage.

Crowning her four decks appears to be a hemispherical observation lounge with a helipad on the bridge deck below. Her exterior is the work of Australian industrialist designer Marc Newson, whose portfolio includes the 139.7-metre Solaris.
There are six projects over 100 metres currently in build at Lürssen including the 122-metre Project Jag, which splashed earlier in August.
