Bering Yachts has revealed all-new renderings of its 37.1-metre B120, which is set to join the Turkish shipyard's fleet of full-displacement explorer yachts.
The B120 was designed alongside Sabdes Design and Phathom Design Studio, with the latter known for recent collaborations such as Gulf Craft's 34.1-metre Majesty 111 model and Extra Yachts' eco-minded catamaran Villa X30.
Accommodation will be for 12 guests and nine crew over four decks. The B120 is flexible regarding configuration, thanks to a spacious 8.9-metre beam and wide-beam displacement hull which may appeal to those interested in Bering's buy-to-charter program, according to the shipyard. A charter-friendly arrangement suggested by Bering includes six identical cabins, with four positioned on the main deck and two on the lower deck.
Interior renderings reveal airy, bright interiors curated by floor-to-ceiling windows, a white and cream colour scheme, curved architecture lines and edgeless furniture. The main saloon is arranged with a wet bar and a formal dining area aft that seats 12 people.
Alexey Mikhailov, founder of Bering Yachts, said: “While designing this boat, we have received plenty of feedback from our customers, and we tried to execute their suggestions in B120. For example, a private deck accessible only by the owners, or a trendy request – a beach club. What is different about B120, you don’t need to go down to the beach club, as in most boats of this class. We have blended it with the swimming platform, and the beach club is now elevated by 70 centimetres, making it more useful.”
Exterior renderings show additional leisure highlights including a bow Jacuzzi, a side-loading beach club balcony and ample sofa seating and sunloungers spread across the B120's three decks.
Powered by twin diesel engines, the B120 will be able to reach a top speed of 14 knots and a cruising speed of between 10 to 12 knots. The yacht's 54,100 litre tank capacity also enables a range of over 4,000 nautical miles.
This news comes at a busy time for Bering Yachts. According to BOATPro, 11 units are currently under construction, four of which belong to the shipyard's ever-popular B80 series.
