Moonen turns seventh hull in Martinique series

Moonen Yachts has turned the seventh steel hull in its Martinique series at the Talsma Shipyard in the Netherlands. Provisionally known as Project YN205, she is available for sale with delivery scheduled for April 2025.

Exterior design is owed to René Van Der Velden, while the custom interiors will be styled by the team at Hollander Yacht Design, who have already worked on their first Martinique project. Naval architecture was completed by longstanding collaborator Diana Yacht Design.

Built in high tensile steel, Project YN205 will include worldwide shore power connectivity and dual US-European domestic power outlets, optimised for side-boarding arrangements. 

There will be three semi-custom interior iterations to consider for potential owners – each accommodating up to 12 guests. "Barefoot Luxury" cultivates a beach villa aesthetic with neutral tones and light woods; for a more classic feel, "Timeless Elegance" provides plush, soft furnishing with lacquered surfaces and dark polished woods and metals. Lastly, the "Contemporary Touch" concept is styled with unique geometrics such as cloud sofas and orb pillows.

“Our new Martinique offers the same proven performance as her sisters at sea, but with custom interiors and lots of design possibilities," said Moonen commercial director Victor Caminada. "The sooner a buyer steps into this project, the more they can customise the yacht to their personal style and requirements.”

The yacht can reach a maximum speed of 17 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles.

Project YN205 will eventually join the existing fleet, which includes Brigadoon, Botti and Cocoon. This is alongside the additional two new Martiniques scheduled for delivery next year.
