Sarp Yachts has launched the second hull in its XSR series. Once delivered, she will join sistership Edge on the water.

Exterior design is courtesy of Red Yacht Design, while the vessel's Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) is owed to Van Oossanen Naval Architects – allowing the yacht "to operate with enhanced efficiency across a diverse range of speeds". Another standout feature is the XSR's solar panelling which enables silent operations and powers the yacht's hotel load.

The XSR incorporates extensive glass throughout the hull and superstructure to create an open floor plan and "seamless integration of interior and exterior spaces".

Accommodation is for eight guests across four cabins, plus a dedicated crew of four. This includes a full-beam owner's cabin with his and hers walk-in closets and a spacious en suite. There is also a full-beam VIP cabin with a walk-in closet and a bathroom that can be converted into a television lounge when needed. While interior details are yet to be disclosed, styling will be done by Art Line.

On deck, the flybridge is arranged with a helm station, seating area and small bar. A full-beam set of stairs leads to the hydraulic swim platform, arranged with sunloungers.

The XSR is equipped with an "advanced" hybrid propulsion system that comprises two 800hp MAN engines, two 70-kilowatt generators and two 50-kilowatt electric motors complemented by a battery bank. She is capable of over 1,400 nautical miles at 10 knots.

According to BOATPro, Sarp Yachts has two yachts currently under construction, including a unit from its Nacre 62 series.
