Baglietto has announced a construction milestone for the second unit in its T60 series. Built on spec, the 60-metre yacht has now had its keel laid with delivery expected in 2027.
With soft exterior lines by Francesco Paszkowski, the T60 series is the "heir" and modernised interpretation of Baglietto's popular T52 model. Notably, the model has no enclosed spaces, with both the main saloon and upper deck able to be converted for an indoor-outdoor feel.
Accommodation is across five cabins, with the fifth cabin on the lower deck also hosting a massage room. There is further space for 13 crew. The upper deck, as was the case on the first hull, is reserved entirely for the owner. Accessed from a lobby amidships (and serviced by a glass lift), the master cabin includes an office, walk-in wardrobe and large bathroom with separate toilet. Both forward and aft are glazed surfaces that can be opened on three sides, offering private access to an outdoor pool, al fresco dining area, hot tub and sunbathing space.
Exterior spaces are conceived as "one single, free-flowing space" that encompasses the 60-square-metre beach area, the main saloon and the dining area. The beach club is fitted with a pool, bar and conversation area and is connected to the main saloon via a staircase. The dining room also benefits from glazed surfaces that can be fully opened. Other highlights include a touch-and-go helipad on the bow and storage for a seven-metre tender, two Jet Skis and a rescue tender.
The second hull differentiates itself with the wheelhouse, which has been moved to the sun deck, as well as two additional areas for dining and sunbathing. A "haute-cuisine kitchen" can also be found amidships.
"Our top-of-the-range yacht preserves Baglietto's unmistakable style as pencilled by Francesco Paszkowski Design - recognised and admired all over the world - but also opens up to unprecedented, innovative solutions," comments Baglietto's CCO Fabio Ermetto. "[The T60] radically changes the concept of life at sea and overturns long-established rules that juxtapose sea and land, interiors and exteriors, formal and informal, day areas and night areas".
Powered by twin CAT engines, the T60 can reach a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. All pre-settings are also in place for hybrid propulsion, if the owner so wishes.
