UK-based interior design studio Lawson Robb has presented the first renderings of Haze II, a 30.8-metre model currently being built by Cantiere delle Marche (CDM). Delivery is scheduled for 2025.

Haze II is the successor of the 26.2-metre Haze, which was owned by British entrepreneur Steve Rigby and was delivered by Extra Yachts in 2020.

Speaking to BOAT International, Lawson Robb's director and creative lead, George Wolstenholme, described the owner's previous yacht as more of a "fairweather craft". "Now, he has expanded [...] and sunk his teeth into something that can take him further afield," said Wolstenholme.

In this spirit of expansion, exterior refinements have been made to the CDM model, including "developed windows systems" that give a "wraparound glass feel while avoiding punched portholes". Exterior design and naval architecture are owed to Hydro Tec.

Interiors are fully custom, with the owner's brief detailing the need for intimate areas suitable for entertaining and remote work. Renderings reveal a soft, muted palette with pops of colour (particularly reds and oranges) incorporated throughout. There will also be focus on properly utilising the foredeck as a lounge area.

While full details are yet to be disclosed, onboard highlights will include a sundeck Jacuzzi flanked by sunpads and aft deck tender storage.

"It’s a real pleasure to be creating something individual on our second yacht project with the client, we always relish the chance to create something with a different flavour to our past projects," added Wolstenholme. "We are also very much enjoying the collaboration with CDM and Hydro Tec with their mentality to constantly develop their platform ensuring a very special project."

CDM has 10 yachts currently under construction, according to BOATPro. The shipyard also recently announced the launch of its first 44.3-metre Flexplorer, known as Maverick.
