Moonen Yachts YN205 Ready for Outfitting

The Moonen 122 Martinique, YN205, has reached a significant milestone as it concluded its maiden journey this week. After being launched at its Dutch hull builder, the Martinique hull was carefully transported to the Moonen Yachts outfitting yard in Den Bosch, Netherlands. This 37.4m yacht, available for purchase, is slated for completion in April 2025 and marks the seventh vessel in the successful Martinique design series.

Distinguished by its extensive steel-hull range, sophisticated design, Dutch craftsmanship, and customizable interior, the Martinique offers an exceptional opportunity for early buyers to tailor the interior to their unique style and preferences.

Moonen Yachts Project Manager, Ian Vermoen, commended the smooth launch at their partner yard Talsma, emphasizing the fruitful collaboration that has produced well-crafted hulls. The outfitting team at Moonen Yachts eagerly awaits the next phase, involving the marriage of the steel hull and aluminum superstructure, as the yacht prepares to enter the fit-out shed.

Notably, Moonen Yachts has two other Martiniques currently in construction for owners, with deliveries set for April and June of this year.

Moonen Yachts is a yacht builder based in the Netherlands, and its first yacht was built in 1964 under the original yard name of De Ruiter. In 1981, the yard was renamed Moonen Shipyards. It’s launching its first vessel under new ownership: Alhena. In 2017 Moonen Shipyards changed into Moonen Yachts. With the help of strong vision, innovative technology and new designers, Moonen is once again becoming the market leader in 30m to 50m luxury yachts.
