Amels 60 Satemi Delivered by Damen Yachting

Damen Yachting announces the delivery of the Amels 60 Satemi, marking the first delivery for 2024. The superyacht, the fourth in the next-generation Amels Limited Editions series, showcases Damen Yachting's commitment to exceptional design and onboard experiences. Satemi, a 60-meter marvel, will grace the quayside at the Damen Yachting shipyard in the Netherlands for a brief period before embarking on her maiden voyage to the Caribbean.

Designed by Espen Oeino, the Amels 60 Satemi boasts a timeless exterior, further customized with elongated window styling chosen by its discerning owners. The interiors, a collaborative effort between the owners and Studio Indigo, exhibit unique and captivating design elements, setting a new standard for luxury.

Tassos Papantoniou from Torrance Yachts, representing the owners, emphasizes their hands-on involvement in the build process over the past 24 months, ensuring every detail aligns with their vision. The result is a spectacular yacht that reflects uncompromising standards, from tenders to dinnerware.

Aligned with the Amels 60's focus on outstanding onboard experiences, Satemi features the signature spacious sun deck, a large swim platform, an owner’s suite with a folding balcony, his and her bathrooms, and a dressing room. A rare feature for a yacht of this size, Satemi includes a foredeck with space for a tender up to 9 meters. Accommodating up to 12 guests and 13 crew, the yacht is ideal for both private and charter use.

The technological prowess of the Amels 60 Satemi is underscored by its IMO Tier III-compliant hybrid power and propulsion system. Captain Mattia Dzaja praises the system's environmental benefits and enhanced safety during cruising. The seamless collaboration among all parties involved in this project is evident in the stunning outcome.

As Damen Yachting embarks on another year, Project Manager Danker Rijk expresses pride in Satemi's completion, highlighting the collective effort of all involved. With three more Amels 60s in progress and the final delivery of 2023 recently departed, the Limited Editions series continues to draw acclaim for its proven technical platform, fast delivery, and customizable features.
