Excitement brews at the Genoa shipyard as the highly anticipated Otam 90 GTS nears completion, scheduled for launch in May. Set to debut internationally at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 in September, this flagship marks a significant milestone as Otam celebrates its 70th anniversary.
Fusing customized comfort, spaciousness, and style, the Otam 90 GTS boasts twin MTU engines generating 2,600hp each, promising exhilarating speeds exceeding 40 knots with Arneson drives.
Crafted in collaboration with Giuseppe Bagnardi of BG Design Firm, the yacht boasts bespoke design elements. The helm console, inspired by racing cars, features a carbon-fiber structure resembling Formula 1’s protective ‘halo’ system, complete with an integrated cooling system.
The hull, adorned in a custom silver metallic paint with bronze accents, showcases the owner’s distinctive taste.
Internally, the layout caters to luxury without compromising sporty aesthetics. The three ensuite cabins include a full-beam owner’s cabin, a VIP cabin, and a guest cabin, alongside a lounge. The main deck offers a spacious cockpit, separate kitchen access, ample sunbathing areas, and a bathing platform.
With endless customization options like full or half-height side windows and various garage sizes, the Otam 90 GTS epitomizes the shipyard’s dedication to pure custom craftsmanship.
Matteo Belardinelli, Otam Sales & Communication Manager, affirms, “Every detail has been developed with and for the owner, ensuring a unique and exclusive expression of luxury.”
The shipyard’s history started in 1954 in Liguria. Its professionalism is what made it stand out, very quickly becoming the first authorized Riva yacht Service Center for the Med Sea. In the 80’s Otam fit around 25 yachts for an American builder before starting his own production of Otam 45’ and 55’, earning significant attention. Today Otam has produced around 90 yachts, becoming an Italian specialist, and, together with its custom range, offers a limitless choice between 45’ and 130’.
