Tommaso Spadolini has introduced the Patrone 45’, a new project developed in collaboration with the Moreno family, owners of the shipyard. Following the success of the Patrone 100, which celebrated the shipyard's centenary, the Patrone 45’ responds to owners' requests for a larger vessel that retains the same style and elegance.

The 14-meter Patrone 45’ combines marine capabilities with the distinctive style of the Ligurian gozzo. Scheduled to debut at autumn boat shows, the Patrone 45’ aims to replicate the success of the Patrone 100. Spadolini explains, “The Patrone 45’ was born from the success of the Patrone 100 and the requests from many owners who wanted the same charm and elegance on a larger scale. Our goal was to create an open cruiser for people who want to live outdoors without sacrificing interior comfort.”

In designing the Patrone 45’, Spadolini focused on conviviality on board, a priority for Gianarnaldo and Benedetta Moreno, the fifth generation of shipyard owners. The aim was to modernize the classic charm of the Ligurian gozzo, resulting in a boat that offers ample space and customization options while maintaining seaworthiness. The hull, derived from other models in the shipyard, features a V-Drive transmission and Yanmar 440 hp turbodiesel engines.

Spadolini notes, “We enhanced the concepts of seaworthiness and habitability from the Patrone 100. This vessel is characterized by light and space, with constant visual contact with the sea, even below deck, thanks to large windows near the bow.” The T-top style element, initially introduced with the Patrone 100, has been retained to provide shade and shelter in the stern area.

The Patrone 45’ measures 14 meters in length with a 4.40-meter beam. The stern swim platform leads to a protected cockpit with a dinette that can seat up to eight people, served by a well-equipped kitchenette. The bridge can be customized by the owner, with two large walkways leading to a sun deck measuring 2.50 by 2.50 meters. An innovative feature requested by Gianarnaldo Moreno is a hydraulically raised stern sofa, facilitating access to the engine room for maintenance. Sustainable materials were used in construction, including eco-tech for the deck top and low environmental impact resins for the hull.

The interiors offer five possible layout solutions, accommodating up to three cabins and always including two bathrooms. Spadolini explains, “The owner's cabin with its bathroom in the bow is fixed, but everything else can be customized. Owners can choose to have a second covered galley or just the one in the cockpit.”

Benedetta Moreno adds, “The new flagship provides large indoor and outdoor spaces that offer cozy and comfortable areas for adults and children. Joy is not a destination, but a journey to share with loved ones.” Spadolini concludes, “Working with the Moreno family is always a pleasure. They are passionate about boats and very competent, making our relationship stimulating and full of intuitive ideas that transfer to their boats.”
