The first unit in Ocean King's Doge 400 GT series has been launched from its shipyard in Chioggia, Italy. The 40.4-metre superyacht is now awaiting sea trials ahead of delivery to her "esteemed" Italian owner.
The model has a rugged, explorer-esque exterior by Design ALot Studio, while interiors have been handled by Matteo Gottardo Designer. Naval architecture is owed to inNave.
Accommodation is for 10 guests, including a master cabin forward on the main deck arranged with an en suite bathroom and private study. Guest accommodation is on the lower deck and comprises two VIP suites, a double cabin and a twin. There are further quarters for seven crew.
On the main deck, a large saloon with floor-to-ceiling windows leads to an external lounge and al fresco dining area. A formal dining room on the upper deck connects to the sun deck, arranged with a bar and a swimming pool.
Meanwhile, a large beach club with two fold-out balconies will allow guests easy access to the sea. One tender garage is situated here, while another is stowed in the bow.
Powered by twin MAN engines, the Doge 400 GT has a maximum speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 13 knots and a range of 5,500 nautical miles. Other key numbers include an 8.5-metre beam, a volume of 428GT and a 55,000-litre fuel capacity.
According to BOATPro, the second unit in the series is currently under construction with delivery scheduled for December 2025.
This follows the interior reveal of the 36.8-metre Vãyus following her debut at the Venice International Boat Show in May 2023. Highlights include a saltwater pool, an enclosed cinema room and a full-beam owner's cabin.
