Admiral wants to ensure seafarers get more than they bargained for. The flagship brand of the Italian Sea Group has unveiled a new 131-foot (40-meter) model that offers the space and amenities of a much larger superyacht.
Named after the Italian word for “40,” Quaranta is the product of a collaboration between Monaco-based studio the A Group and the Italian Sea Group’s Centro Stile. Labeled “contemporary and modern” by the Italian yard, the semi-custom cruiser showcases sleek, elegant lines that flow from the sharp bow to the sculpted stern.
“The Admiral Quaranta yacht was made possible thanks to the perfect synergy found with the A Group, to offer a 40-metre yacht that encompasses typical layout and comfort features usually only found on much larger yachts,” Giovanni Costantino, founder and CEO of the Italian Sea Group, said in a statement. “We have created a harmonious synergy at the core of this project thanks to our strong expertise in terms of design, quality, and innovation.”
Quaranta is also an ideal yacht for charter. It features a lightweight aluminum hull designed to reduce fuel consumption and a shallow draft that enables the easy navigation of waters in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. In addition, the vessel has a flexible internal layout that can be adapted to owner preferences.
The interior is replete with sinuous curves, soft surfaces, and sophisticated furnishings that perfectly complement the exterior. The main deck centers around a large salon with three full-height windows, a lounge area, a dining space, and a “technologically advanced” game area. The living quarters are also home to six spacious cabins, two of which are reserved for the owner. The first owner’s suite is located on the main deck, while the second, larger suite is positioned on the upper deck.
As for the exterior, Quaranta sports three spacious aft decks and a sprawling foredeck. Admiral says the striking full-beam aft staircase is the “signature” element of the yacht and seamlessly connects all levels. Another highlight is the beach club, which Admiral says opens like a drawer to triple the surface area.
The Quaranta has already garnered the attention of seafarers, too. Admiral sold the first unit this past May. We should see the 131-footer on the high seas relatively soon, then.
