The German shipbuilder Dörries Yachts has previewed the Nest, the observation platform on its 114.1-meter Project Arwen. "We're thrilled to share never-before-seen photos of this indulgent lookout spot on Arwen. The Nest is the perfect place to unwind, offering a serene private sanctuary with breathtaking views," says the shipyard.
Renderings show an enclosed area with sofa seating, a double bed, and curved glass walls offering nearly 360-degree views. Forward access leads to a hot tub and a winter garden with a bar, seating area, and adjacent bathroom and shower. These features allow the Nest to be converted into an additional owner's suite or VIP cabin.
The exterior and interior design is by US firm Píndaros, with assistance from Champeau Wilde and Andy Waugh. Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture handled the naval architecture.
Project Arwen will feature six en suite guest cabins and a 290-square-metre owner's suite. Key highlights include a 20-meter swimming pool, a multi-level spiral staircase, a helipad, cinemas, a spa, gym, salon, and bar. The yacht is expected to reach 15 knots with a 5,000 nautical mile range at 12 knots.
Currently under construction in Bremerhaven, the superyacht is set to launch in October 2026.
