New Zealand-based studio Isaac Burrough Design has revealed a new, 133.6-metre concept known as Revival. The superyacht is an evolution of an earlier 100-metre concept, which was shared with BOAT International in 2018.

The studio has maintained the original concept's bold exterior, including the multi-level glass atrium that creates the signature strip of glazing across the superstructure. This updated design sprang from a client request to extend the original concept to a yacht that can entertain a large number of guests. As such, another distinctive feature is the generously sized guest suites – there are 17 in total, measuring between 42 and 63 square metres. All cabins feature floor-to-ceiling windows or two-metre-high openings for impressive ocean views and airy, naturally-lit interiors.

An owner's deck has also been designed with outdoor dining and cooking facilities, a large lounge and an 180-square-metre suite with a private gym, sauna, additional lounge and office. Accommodation in total is for 36 guests and 56 crew.

According to the designer, each deck has been tailored to a different time of day. The lower deck is suited to daytime activities, featuring a beach club, dedicated sports lounge, spa, beauty salon and yoga rooms, while sunset would be spent on the upper deck with its piano lounge and 180-square-metre nightclub – though its private library means it is also equipped for quieter evenings. Meanwhile, the main deck features a 10-metre glass bottom pool, a lounge, a dining table, a wine and cocktail bar and a 15-person cinema.

Other highlights include a Jacuzzi on the sundeck, a helipad and hangar for a HC145 helicopter and storage for an immense inventory of watertoys, including a three-person submarine and 12-metre limo tender.

"Revisiting an existing concept was a gratifying exploration into maintaining the original character of the yacht while also finding opportunities to refresh the design," said Burrough. "Although Revival did not proceed to build, I’m really proud of how this project evolved and wanted to make sure the design and stunning visuals were shared with the world."

Revival would be equipped with single-tier engine room optimised for "the next-generation" in hybrid propulsion systems, meaning the yacht could safely navigate through environmentally sensitive areas in electric mode.
