Heesen Yachts has introduced Santosha, the first vessel in its new 57-meter series. Originally built on speculation, the yacht's design evolved to reflect the tastes and lifestyle of its new owners, who collaborated with interior designer Harrison Eidsgaard and Heesen’s interior engineers.

The yacht, named Santosha and symbolized by a lotus logo, embodies the Sanskrit concept of contentment and balance between external and internal worlds.

Peter Wilson, the Owner's Representative, noted the successful collaboration with Heesen: "Our work as a cohesive team has resulted in a world-class superyacht. This was our second project with Heesen, and we look forward to many more."

The 57-metre series, first revealed at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show, features exterior lines by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. The yacht’s design includes a sweeping arch along the superstructure, a slightly raked bow, and a scooped-shaped stern, giving it a distinctive appearance.

Santosha’s owners sought an interior with a relaxed yet elegant ambiance, realized through sustainable materials like recycled wood, performance leather, and art silk carpets. The design features a free-flowing layout and a neutral color palette, with minimalist aesthetics and carefully curated details, such as woven leather accents and gleaming curved wallpapers.

The interior also includes curated art pieces that add a playful touch to the decor, balanced by pale-colored floors and art silk carpets, contributing to a fresh and elegant aesthetic.

The yacht features a nearly 70 square meter owners' apartment, including a study, full beam stateroom, and expansive bathroom. The master bathroom is designed with white-on-white bas-relief techniques, inspired by the Garden of Eden and crafted by London-based DKT studio.

Guest quarters are designed for practicality and comfort, with light, elegant aesthetics, breezy pops of color, and curated artwork, creating a serene yet playful atmosphere.

Heesen's CCO Mark Cavendish remarked: "Santosha combines elegance with practicality and meticulous attention to detail with a relaxed ambiance. It stands as a testament to Heesen Yachts' commitment to excellence and innovation in yacht building."
