Ferretti Yachts has launched the first unit of its Infynito 80 series at the new Ravenna production site, which was acquired in March 2023. This vessel will make its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024.
The Infynito 80, known for its visual continuity between interiors and exteriors, features innovative layouts and versatility, offering more covered outdoor space than the average for its segment. The shipyard, expected to be fully operational by 2025, currently employs 200 workers across five production lines for the Ferretti Yachts and Wally brands.
The Infynito 80, alongside the Infynito 90, emphasizes environmental friendliness, flexibility, and innovative design, including the award-winning All-Season Terrace. This terrace offers enhanced outdoor living space protected by the hard top or superstructure.
With a length of 23.70 meters and a beam of 6.32 meters, the yacht results from collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, featuring exterior design by architect Filippo Salvetti and interiors by Ideaitalia.
The Infynito 80 incorporates Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture (F.S.E.A.), a sustainability-focused package that includes a fuel-efficient fast displacement hull, green materials like natural fabrics and recyclable items, and an integrated solar energy system stored in an Energy Bank.
The contemporary interior design draws inspiration from sea tones, while the upper deck features an open sundeck with a hard-top for shading the dining area and helm station. The stern area is dedicated to sunbathing with freestanding loungers.
The main deck includes a salon with twin sofas and a ceiling-mounted TV. The forward galley opens to the All-Season Terrace, offering a private dinette or bar area and a large sofa. The lower deck has four en-suite guest cabins for eight people and a crew area with two cabins for three crew members.
The first unit is equipped with optional twin MAN V12 – 1400 mHP engines, achieving a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. The standard version with MAN V12 - 1200 mHP engines offers a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. The high-efficiency hull provides a range of 1200 nautical miles at an economy cruising speed of 10 knots.
The Ferretti Group, led by Chief Executive Officer Alberto Galassi, is now one of the world’s leaders in the construction and sale of luxury yachts and pleasure vessels, with a unique portfolio of brands: Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing, Itama, Mochi Craft, CRN, Custom Line and Wally.
