The 32.8-metre motor yacht Odyssey III has been sold in an in-house deal at Fraser, with Tim Langmead representing the seller and Giulio Riggio representing the buyer.

Built with a steel hull by Italian yard Benetti, Odyssey III was delivered in 1967 and is a fine example of the yard's classic canoe-sterned motor yachts. She has been regularly upgraded and refitted throughout her life, with the most recent being an extensive, two-year rebuild in 2018 at Pendennis.

Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins, consisting a full-beam master suite forward, a VIP suite and two twins. All cabins have entertainment centres, flat screen television sets and en suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for seven crew located forward on the lower deck.

A refreshed interior by the Benetti Interior Department complements her exterior with a blend of classic and contemporary fabrics and furnishings to retain her original splendour.

The space is filled with light thanks to large windows to port and starboard, and the space further benefits from an entertainment centre, including a 42-inch flat-screen television and a dining area forward with seating for 10 guests.

On deck, recently refreshed teak deck areas can play host to a variety of activities, including cocktails and meals on the large aft deck with relaxation and sunbathing always available on the sundeck. A fold down balcony and hydraulic bathing platform were added during the rebuild.

Twin Detroit 16V71 diesel engines give the 167GT yacht a range of 2,750 nautical miles, a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 14 knots. She completed her Bureau Veritas class survey in 2023.

Odyssey III was last asking €4,500,000 with VAT paid.
