Rossinavi has announced the delivery of its 42.8-meter hybrid-electric catamaran, Seawolf X, which the shipyard has described as its "most innovative project" to date. The vessel has left Rossinavi's facilities in Viareggio, Italy.

Designed by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design, Seawolf X is Rossinavi's first foray into multihull construction. Seawolf X features three distinct "performance scenarios," allowing the vessel to operate in full-electric mode for varying durations depending on the trip. On one-day trips, she can cruise entirely in electric mode; on multi-day journeys, she can maintain 90% electric cruising; and on transatlantic voyages, she can cruise in electric mode for 80% of the time. When moored, the yacht can enter a "hibernation mode" to minimize energy consumption, with the ability to return generated energy to the shore or a private property. The vessel can fully recharge in five hours and provides enough energy to power an entire villa.

The catamaran is also equipped with an advanced artificial intelligence system, Rossinavi AI, which monitors the vessel’s operations, predicts guest needs, and advises the crew on sustainable cruising practices. The AI system manages the battery pack, ensuring it remains within an optimal charge range.

The exterior of Seawolf X is characterized by a low-profile design reminiscent of a sports car. Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design sought to challenge traditional catamaran aesthetics, integrating solar panels and utilizing lightweight materials to enhance hull efficiency and aesthetics.

Inside, New York-based design firm Meyer Davis crafted an interior that emphasizes relaxed luxury and sustainability. Inspired by natural elements such as the sun, sea, and sand, the decor complements the yacht’s cutting-edge design.

Leisure features on Seawolf X include a cockpit with a central pool, a spacious sundeck with sunbathing and living areas, and a bow area with a hidden pool that can convert into a home theatre. The yacht accommodates up to 10 guests in four cabins located in the hulls.

The catamaran also carries Rossinavi’s BlUE label, part of the shipyard's sustainable design philosophy launched in 2022. The BlUE fleet, inspired by phytoplankton, utilizes photovoltaic technology to absorb sunlight during the day and release energy at night, creating a bioluminescent effect.

Seawolf X falls under the 500GT threshold, with a beam of 13.8 meters and a maximum draught of two meters.

Rossinavi is an Italian manufacturer of custom steel and aluminum superyachts 28m in size and larger. The Rossi shipyard was founded in the 1970s and is located in Viareggio.
