The latest Amels 80 superyacht has successfully arrived in Vlissingen, Netherlands, after completing its journey from Damen Yachting's hull-building facility in Galatz, Romania. The 80-meter vessel, part of the Amels Limited Editions series, is the second of its kind and will now undergo final outfitting before its scheduled delivery in May 2026.
This phase marks a significant milestone as the yacht joins its sister vessel, which is already in the outfitting stage. The Amels 80 continues the series' focus on customization, proven technology, and efficiency, features that have made the design popular among a wide range of yacht owners.
Jan van Hogerwou, Commercial Executive at Damen Yachting, expressed enthusiasm for the project, noting that the team is eager to proceed with the outfitting process. The yacht, designed by Espen Øino with interior design by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, will accommodate 14 guests and 20 crew members, including the captain.
The Amels 80 is set for delivery in spring 2026.
Damen Yachting, a division within the Damen Shipyards Group, was created in 2019. The division combines the pedigree and heritage of Amels yachts with a growing portfolio of SeaXplorer yachts and Yacht Support vessels.
