50m Feadship motor yacht Solinda rejoins market

The 49.8-metre motor yacht Solinda has rejoined the market with Andrew Bond of Edmiston.

Built of steel and aluminium in the Netherlands by Feadship in 1990, Solinda has benefited from numerous upgrades including an extensive refit under the guidance of Patrick Knowles in 2014. Naval architecture is by De Voogt. She was a finalist in the World Superyacht Awards for this refit and went on to have further refit works carried out in 2022, including a full repaint of hull and superstructure.

Accommodation is for up to 10 guests in five cabins, including a full-beam, main deck master cabin with his and hers bathrooms. Two double VIPs plus a Queen-sized double and a twin cabin are located on the lower deck and there are quarters for a crew of 11.

The main saloon sports four armchairs, a sofa and a glass-walled wine cellar. Forward of this – screened off but open to the saloon – is a formal 10-seater dining room, its 250-bottle wine fridge being a highlight. A large screen TV means this room could equally be used for business presentations and client meetings.

The sky lounge features a sit-up bar, games table, large TV and surround-sound entertainment system. It leads out to a 12-person, al fresco dining table. Up top is the sundeck which boasts large sunpads and lounge chairs as well as a seven-person Jacuzzi. With the tender launched, this teak-decked area is perfect for parties with ample space. Gym equipment is located – suitably shaded and ventilated – below the masts.

The 478GT pedigree Feadship yacht for sale is powered by twin 900hp Caterpillar diesels and has a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
