Dutch yard Oceanco and Italian studio Mario Biferali Yacht Design have collaborated on a 150-metre concept known as Antos. The project would convert a 10,630GT container ship into a private superyacht in the first of a collection of "post-industrial" designs known as Nacht®.

"Nacht® derives from the blend of the words 'naval' and 'yacht'. The former is driven by functional design, the latter by high-end experiences," explained Biferali. "[Our] vision focuses on converting any merchant ship into a luxury vessel, combining large dimensions with the purity of forms in a refined minimalism that marks the beginning of a new era in design." Antos is named after the ancient Greek word for "flower" to reflect this concept of new beginnings.

The design is characterised by its extended main deck and "tower" structure, with the latter dedicated to the owner (with the exception of the bridge deck). The multi-level owner's apartment spans three decks, offering 360-degree views and a private sundeck. "Super-VIP suites" are also found on board, while families with young children will benefit from the play area and media room, as well as connected kids' and nanny cabins.

The foredeck is equipped with a helideck, a sports court, a raised swimming pool, a double sit-up bar and multiple lounging areas. Cabins on the lower deck can be accessed via the foredeck court, with high bulwarks installed for greater privacy. Other highlights include a full-beam gym, a cinema and media room and a fully-equipped wellness area with sauna, Hammam, beauty salon and treatment room.

Many of the living spaces can also be repurposed for scientific research, remote working or philanthropic activities.

The yacht would be supported by a crew of 54, not including the captain whose cabin is positioned on the bridge deck.
