The UK builder will debut the ‘super flybridge’ yacht in 2026

The UK’s Princess Yachts has launched the X90, the latest addition to its X-Class series of yachts. At just under 90ft, the X90 is positioned between the X80 and the flagship X95 Vista in the line of luxurious ‘super flybridge’ yachts. It will be capable of 26kt.

A key highlight of the X90 is its cockpit design. Featuring an open, low-level layout, the cockpit extends the connection with the water, creating a spacious, tranquil area. A glass transom and folding balconies on both sides provide a sweeping 180º view, whether guests are seated or standing. With plush sofas on three sides, a wet bar, and an optional TV, this versatile space is ideal for relaxing or entertaining onboard.

In a first for Princess, the X90 includes curved patio doors that connect the cockpit to the main deck saloon. When open, these doors transform the saloon’s 10-seat dining table into an extension of the cockpit, offering flexibility for dining and social occasions. The main deck saloon, surrounded by glass, allows natural light to flood the area, enhancing the spacious feel.

The galley can be designed as open with a breakfast bar or fully enclosed for privacy, with direct access to the forward crew quarters. Throughout, the main deck maintains a single-level layout from the cockpit to the master suite, an elegant feature inspired by the X95.

The forward master suite features 180º glazing for panoramic views, while an optional gullwing door allows private access to the ‘Owner’s Foredeck Terrace’ – a secluded spot for a morning coffee or quiet retreat, where all deck gear is recessed beneath teak decking.

Above, the flybridge boasts an enclosed ‘Skylounge’ with spacious seating and the option for an 85in TV. Sliding doors lead to the wheelhouse, where multiple engine options allow for speeds of up to 26kt. Aft of the Skylounge, dining areas and customisable layouts, including options for a spa bath, bar, or crane-equipped tender storage, enhance the versatility of this deck. Forward and aft seating on the foredeck can also convert to sun loungers for added relaxation.

Below deck, the X90 offers three en-suite guest cabins as standard and the option for a five-cabin layout. Crew quarters are forward, providing up to three cabins, a bathroom, and a mess area for comfort and privacy.
