The 57-metre motor yacht Liberty has been sold with Rob Newton and Richard Gray of IYC representing the seller and Bill Powers of 26 North introducing the buyer.
Built in aluminium in the USA by Trinity, she was delivered in 2012 and refitted in 2018. Her interior is by Evan K. Marshall. Liberty was repainted in 2020 and her 10-year survey was completed in 2022.
Accommodation is for 12 guests across six "high volume" cabins. These comprise a master suite, three doubles and a convertible cabin. The brokers said that her design is "timeless" and incorporates "plush" furnishings for a refined and inviting atmosphere. She is designed for entertaining and boasts a dance floor.
Twin Caterpillar engines drive the 782GT yacht at a cruising speed of 14 knots and a maximum speed of 20 knots. The range is 4,360 nautical miles at 10 knots.
The brokers had pointed out that she has proved herself as a charter yacht, should her future owner wish to offset some running costs and continue to operate her commercially.
Liberty was last asking $23,750,000 and lying in Florida, USA.
